This past weekend was great. I went thrifting, finally made some Halloween decorations (DIY coming up), and
I packed away my summer clothes and said goodbye to my pasty legs. I love dressing for the colder months but hate cold weather, which makes about as much sense as reading fitness magazines while eating cookies and drinking wine... which is how I spent my Sunday night.

love that bag! xo

ReplyDeleteI agree with both sentiments at the end of your blog. I hate cold weather, but love the clothes, and I have been known to read healthy cookbooks or diet books while eating terribly delicious foods. We are awesome!

Like you I too dislike cold weather, but I adore dressing for a colder climate, especially gloves and scarves are my favourite! Love this outfit, it's cosy, yet polished.
ReplyDeleteMan, I completely understand. I love fall clothes, but I hate being cold :) On another note, I've been trying to figure out how to "winterize" my gray maxi skirt and your post just gave me some great ideas - thanks!
ReplyDeleteI loove this look!! That grey maxi skirt is amazing and perfect with the striped top and mustard scarf. Fall dressing is definitely my favourite, I just hate how insanely cold it gets where I live
ReplyDeleteLOL Indeed. I hate cold weather, but you know in the summer I'm whining about when it's going to get cooler and the second that the temperatures reach mildly uncomfortable I'm missing summer. Love your stripes and scarf!
ReplyDeleteI just got a maxi skirt this past weekend. Thanks for the inspiration on how to wear it!

LOVE that scarf, jealous I can;t buy it in a store :(
ReplyDeleteThose cookies sound delicious and I love the pop of yellow.
ReplyDeleteI'm SO with you! I love all the aspects that come with fall but I hate being cold! I love the layers and the hot chocolate and the warm showers... Everything that lessens Fall if you think about it but I still love it! There's nothing like that damn crisp air. And everyone is more cheerful. And warm snuggles. I love your outfit (as always). I haven't seen a chunky cowel scarf before! Or, if I have, it hasn't registered. They've always been weeny. Yours is like, BAM. LOVE ME.
ReplyDeleteI have a black maxi skirt that I'm wondering how to style, so I'm definitely going to steal this outfit from you!
ReplyDeleteLucky you. I'm jealous of the bloggers who's been posting about gorgeous layers and fall weather... The closest we get to that would be in December. :(
